Once played DnD where my character had a baby dragon as a familiar. It looked like these cuties and spent most of its time curled up around my neck sleeping, causing everyone to think it was a necklace. The DM eventually had them realize it wasn't by, while we were at a tavern after a payday, someone noticed my necklace was gone and pointed it out. They were all afraid I'd lost it until some half-orc NPC loudly complained about finding 'a lizard' in his blood wine. 

I was not happy with my little Pyrite.
